Meet the ladies (and the little fella!) that make Last Night I Dreamt the unique shopping experience that people have come to love.
Rebecca is a mum, wife, dog lover and friends & family mean the world to her. In recent years Rebecca added a shop into the juggling act of her busy life and whilst she drops many balls she wouldn’t change a thing! Rebecca worked in the television industry for several years, mainly behind the camera (but her onscreen moment came when Rebecca presented on an ITV1 show called Package Holiday Undercover, although she wasn’t particularly good at the undercover bit!) Kids came along and Rebecca spent several years loving life as a mum with her two children, Reuben and Beatrice. Rebecca has always been a big
jewellery obsessive (and clothes, oh and bags, ooops and shoes) and in 2015 when she launched Last Night I Dreamt she turning this passion into a beautiful boutique. Rebecca is a tea obsessive, loves baking, walking Frodo and being with her family. She loves a sing-song and sometimes you’ll catch her singing full volume in the shop. Rebecca also loves a good chat so pop into the boutique
sometime for a natter.
Libby joined Last Night I Dreamt in 2018 and has become a vital part of the team. We couldn’t be prouder of our Libby who graduated with a 1st from Manchester in Human Biology this year. Libby has managed to juggle her final years of uni with working life at Last Night I Dreamt. Having now graduated we are lucky
enough to have Libby on our team and she can be found holding the fort, sipping a skinny ginseng and nibbling on a Florentine from Birds (the bakery next door) on a Monday, Friday, the occasional Saturday and most days in the school hols! A tech whizz Libby has been an integral member of the website social media team. Bubbly, fun and with a fabulous eye for detail, Libby is a huge asset to Last Night I Dreamt and if you get Libby styling you expect to walk away happy with some gorgeous gems!
If you have yet to see Lisa’s Instagram grid you’ve been seriously missing out. Lisa was highly recommended by a fellow shop pal and as soon as Rebecca landed on Lisa’s instagram and discovered her website, she knew she’d found the perfect person to create the Last Night I Dreamt website. Lisa has been so patient
as we’ve faffed around finding the right system to use and is the main reason you’re viewing this website today. Now that the website is up and running we have regular catch-ups with Lisa and she keeps a close eye on our web content in order that we stay on brand! We couldn’t have done this without Lisa’s creative
eye, meticulous attention to detail and calm that she has brought to the table. Find out about the services Lisa has to offer here.
Lisa joined the team back in 2017 and has juggled her own successful business in fashion with being a valuable member of our team. Lisa and Becca bonded over the post school drop off coffee and mutual love of fashion and talking in a West Country accent (Weymouth girl Lisa clearly top trumps wannabe actor
Rebecca!!) Full of fun and fashion advise, Lisa has been our girl Friday for lots of years and now works with us at style events and our in-store style surgeries, as well as the odd day here and there in the boutique! Lisa is a fully qualified Personal Stylist, having trained at the London School of Fashion and knows her stuff. Before knowing Lisa, Rebecca was in awe of her sophisticated Parisian style and dubbed her “fashion Lisa.” Everyone knows when Lisa has entered the room and her contributions to Last Night I Dreamt continue to be invaluable.
Frodo sometimes comes to work with his mum but his ability to knock jewellery over and be a little too friendly with the customers means it’s more of a guest appearance than a permanent mascot role! Frodo has a foot fetish and loves
licking feet and running off with your socks. His favourite food is salmon and he loves barking at his own shadow and chasing his tale. He really is quite silly but we do love him.
Bea loves coming to work with her mum on a Saturday from time to time and her favourite thing to do is clean the floor and glass cabinets. Bea gets paid in sweets! With a natural eye for jewellery Bea’s favourite piece in the shop is obviously the bee! Beatrice shares her mum’s love of drama and has us in stitches with her
accents and impressions! When she grows up Beatrice would like to be a vet but also run Mummy’s shop. Our world is a brighter place with Bea around and we love it when she pops to the shop on her scooter, grabs her milkshake, a dustpan and brush and helps Mummy!
